Description:

Amazonia Raw protein isolate is the first-to-market organic, raw, prebiotic, dairy-free protein with premium bioavailability. A gentle formula designed with optimum gut health in mind, enhanced with live digestive enzymes and prebiotics (food for good digestive bacteria) to support digestive balance, assisting with the breakdown and assimilation of protein for ultimate absorption. This unique protein contains almost 80% organic sprouted bio-fermented protein. A blend of 70% golden pea and 30% brown rice has been specifically formulated to provide an optimal complete amino acid complex.

Amazonia Raw protein isolate is an easy and delicious way to increase your daily protein intake while avoiding the digestive problems often associated with other protein powders.

Purpose of Fermentation:

All grains and legumes have various properties that protect them in the plant world and allow them to survive to produce seed. Plants are often eaten by animals so their protection lies in the ability of their seeds (the “grain” itself) to pass through the animal and emerge on the other side as a pre-fertilsied seed, ready to grow. Plants accomplish this through the presence of gluten, other lectins, enzyme inhibitors and phytic acid. These indigestible compounds are great for ensuring the plants continued fertility, but they can be difficult for humans to digest. Traditional cultures where grains were consumed regularly or in large amounts found ways to reduce the harmful components through methods like soaking, sprouting and fermenting. Soaking and sprouting help to reduce the amounts of the above mentioned “anti-nutrients” and increases the bioavailability of beneficial nutrients. Fermentation is even more effective in deactivating toxins and improving the digestibility of these foods.

Suggested Use:

Blend 3 rounded tablespoons (30g), or higher dose as required, into 200ml of water, non-dairy milk or coconut water. For children (12-17), take half the adult serve. Protein supplementation can be of benefit when used in conjunction with physical activity. Diets high in protein increase the body's need for water. Please ensure adequate daily water intake.
