Ingredients
For this healthy banana bread you will need:
3 ripe bananas
5 tsp. coconut oil (melted)
½ cup brown sugar
1 cup self-raising flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
50g chopped raw walnuts
Instructions
Preheat the oven at 175C°/347°F.
Banana Bread Batter
Peel the ripped bananas and mash them into a nice and smooth paste. Add coconut oil and brown sugar and combine well until smooth again. Add your dry ingredients (flour, cinnamon and nuts) and mix well until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Baking Process
Grease your bread loaf pan with some of your coconut oil or any cooking oil you have at hand, and bake your bread for approx. 40 minutes. Check if batter is fully baked by inserting a toothpick into the bread. If it comes out clean then your bread is done. If needed, cover with foil in the middle of baking so that your bread top will remain nice and brown and not overcook.
Allow to cool before cutting.
