Ingredients
- 180g dates spread
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter or almond spread
- 120g unsalted almonds
- 135g (gluten-free) rolled oats
Instructions
Roast almonds (if not already toasted) in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 175 C° (350 F°) or until golden brown.
Add roasted almonds, oats and date spread into a large bowl and mix well with a spatula or wooden spoon.
Place maple syrup in a saucepan and warm up over low heat. Pour into the dates mixture and mix well until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Use a square pan of your choice (the bigger the pan the thinner the muesli oat slices will be) and line with a parchment paper all the way up the pan so that there will be excess paper to lift out easily.
Place your oat mixture in the pan and press firmly until the mixture has a flat surface.
Cover it with some extra parchment paper and place in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
Once firm, lift paper from pan and cut into individual slices.
And now you can enjoy this delicious oat bars any time of the day!
